1. How DCDE is helpful to the working people?
DCDE is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the professional growth of people associated with rubber and affiliated industries. Our all courses are job oriented. DCDE's courses are beneficial for those person who are unable to attend the classes and/or unable to meet the admission requirement in a college of repute or any other institutions due to lack of time.
2. What is the meaning of distance education programme?
The education that takes place when the instructor and students are separated by space and/or time. The gap between the two can be bridged through the use of technology- such audio tapes, video conferencing, satellite braodcasts and online or more traditional delivery methods like the postal service. Simply, a distance education programme is the off-campus study completed via correspondence.
3. What is the admission procedure?
We don't have any special criteria for admission. Anyone interested in our courses, can take admission directly but we need some basic qualification for for the admission in our several courses. Simply, read all clause of DCDE and if you feel the courses and institute is suitable/beneficial for you then apply for the desired courses.
4. What is the eligibility of various courses?
For admission in B.Sc courses, a candidate must have 12th passed certificate with science subjects. For M.Sc courses, a candidate must have a B.Sc degree in same subject. 10th passed candidates are eligible for our all Certificate Courses. For Diploma and PG Diploma, a candidate must have 12th passed certificate with Science subjects. If Diploma and PG Diploma is with Rubber Technology, then candidate must have rubber industries experience in case of 12th certificate is other than science subjects. For B.Tech course, a candidate must passed 12th with 60% marks in PCM. B.Tech passout can apply our 2 years M.Tech programme.
5. How many days will take time to receive the course materials after submission of application form?
After receiving complete application form and fee, study materials and other documents is dispatched within 10 days.
6. How can we pay the course fee ? What is the mode of payment?
At present, we accept fee through bank cash deposit or online through netbanking (IMPS/NEFT) in our authorized agent's account or DCDE bank account
7. Can I pay the course fee into instalments?
Yes, you can. if you choose to pay the fee into instalments then study materials shall be dispatched in instalments also. In some cases, we charge extra for packaging and dispatching if you choose to pay in instalments.
8. From which institution, DCDE is affiliated?
Sorry, DCDE is not affiliated/recognized by any Goverment institutions. DCDE is an independent body and runs by a team of professionals for the sake of other professionals who want to enhance their technical knowledge in the same field.
9. Is there any Live Classes or Practical Classes or Workshop or Project Work available during course period?
No. Ours is a correspondence courses and we don't have such facilities in our course contents. However, we can arrange such facilities on request with defined terms and conditions. In B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Tech and M.Tech in polymer science and engineering, project work is included but this project work shall be processed by the candidate at his/her own cost. This project work will be prepared by the candidate and a copy of the same must be submitted before final examination.
10. How DCDE can be contacted in case of any doubt session ? Is there any study centre of the programme / courses?
Doubt session is available for our students. General enquiry is resolved through email only. After admission, we provide an special mobile no./email ID/ live chat link/ video chat link to our all students. Currently, we have centre in Delhi and Patna only.
11. How can I get the prospectus?
All information is available on our website. That's why we don't sell prospectus.
12. Is course fee refundable if I want to cancel admission request?
No. Course fee is non-refundable nor admission can be cancelled. THINK before applying for any courses.
13. Is there any discount available in course fee?
There is no discount for individual candidates. but if the number of candidates is 3 or more and all get enrolled together, then 10% discount is available to all candidates. A company sponsored candidates also gets 10% discount on total course fee.
14. Is there any referral scheme available?
Yes. We have referral scheme for students. In this scheme, member can earn asmuch as he/she refers the students to DCDE. More number of students and More earning. This facility is available for our current/past students.
15. Why should anyone join to DCDE?

16. How final examination is conducted?
All examination is conducted online. There is no need to visit our any study centers to appear in examination. CRE/DRE/PGDRE examination is conducted once after completion of course duration whereas B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Tech and M.Tech examination is conducted every year. Final results is declared after addition of each year's obtained marks.
17. Is there any placement services available at DCDE?
We don't have any placement cell but we assist in searching of a suitable job.
18. I am Interested in a Referral Scheme. How can I register for this?
If you have studied at DCDE or currently studying here, then there is no need of registration. If you are other than this category, then you'll have to become a member of 'Polymer People Group'(PPG). To becoming a member of PPG, simply submit your request on prescribed form along with membership fee. Membership fee shall be collected INR 5750/- annually. You can become our lifetime member after paying one time fee INR 16750/-.
19. What kinds of questions are asked in final examination?
Objective types, Multiple choice types, Fill in the blanks, Short notes and descriptive types of questions are asked.
20. Can I appear in examination later, other than scheduled date?
Yes. But maximum time difference is 45 days. You will have to appear in examination within 45 days as per your choice of date. You will be charged for this facilities.
